Jan's collection of prints have been sourced from some of the finest and rarest images in the form of original photographic plates, glass lantern slides, photographs and prints, covering a period from 1880 - 1910. All of the images have been scanned to high resolution and carefully interrogated to remove marks, specks and staining, restoring the images back to their former glory. Once restored they are printed onto Epson Archival Paper via the use of Epson Ultra Chrome K3 ink which together provide a 100 year guarantee against image fade. The prints are available mounted, framed or printed on canvas to a size to suit you.

01.04.2010 1910 Newcastle United Centenary Exhibition at the Theatre Royal, Good Friday 2nd April 2010 until Thursday 8th April 2010 in the 'Olivier Suite' Theatre Royal.
The exhibition will comprise of over 50 No. highly restored images celebrating Newcastle United achieving their 1st FA Cup win April 28th 1910.Jan from (jan-prints) and Paul Joannou (Official Historian for NUFC) have compiled their collection of images to produce this exhibition.
The combination of Jan's restoration skills and Paul's historic knowledge and writing skills have produced an exhibition that will offer people a glimpse of the past 100 years ago.

17.05.2010 'Cleopatra, The Sheik and Love before Breakfast' Exhibition is to appear for a 2 month period at the Tyneside Cinema in their Exhibition Area. Jan will give a talk during the Launch evening giving an insight into his work.

FUTURE EXHIBITION At the Freeman Hospital to take place during May, dates to be agreed. Jan will display images of 'Newcastle as seen in the early 1900s' + images of 'The Tyne Bridge under Construction 1925-28'. Jan will raise money during this exhibition for 'Charlie Bear for Cancer Care Charitable Fund'
